Position Summary?Responsible for managing tax filing obligations, ensuring compliance, and supporting the business in making better-informed decisions. Develops efficient tax strategies, monitors tax regulations and related changes to optimize the tax position of ZEISS Greater China, and mitigates related tax risks. Works closely with the Group Corporate Tax department on international tax projects. The role requires a proactive and independent approach to drive tax optimization initiatives.Main Tasks?1.Develop and implement tax optimization strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits.2.Proactively monitor and drive changes related to tax laws and regulations, informing about necessary countermeasures timely.3.Coordinate tax audits and internal tax checks.4.Provide suggestions on tax savings and local subsidies eligibility requirements.5.Prepare and file monthly/quarterly tax returns, ensuring the quality and accuracy of records.6.Apply for export refunds for goods and services.7.Analyze intercompany trans****s, identify potential PE risks, and propose mitigation measures.8.Prepare and review working papers and return forms for corporate income tax annual filing.9.Calculate deferred taxes and current tax amounts.10.Handle withholding taxes related to non-trade business.11.Work with service providers to prepare documents and reports to meet TP compliance requirements.12.Support tax area automation and digitalization projects to drive efficiency and improve work processes.13.Support the Group Tax Department on M&A projects and provide advice from a local tax regulation perspective.14.Perform other tasks assigned by the manager.
